This detached cottage sits in an elevated position and has stunning views over the River Clyde. Within walking distance of Dunoon, which has a good selection of shops, restaurants and cinema, Dunoon is of course the home of the Cowal Gathering, one of the largest and most spectacular highland games in the world. There is a fantastic range of outdoor leisure activities including sailing, fishing, windsurfing, speed boat tours, quad bikes, clay shooting and much more. The property is within walking distance of Hunter’s Quay Holiday Village, where there is access to a gym, excercise classes, a swimming pool and a variety of daytime and evening activities and entertainment.

Enjoy the stunning scenery while cycling into the forests and hills and walking the Cowal Way. Located only three miles from Loch Lomond National Park, the area is ideal for walkers and cyclists of all abilities and boasts a magnificent diversity of scenery with dramatic peaks, waterfalls, hidden caves and mysterious, forest covered slopes. A short drive round the peninsula takes you to Argyll’s secret coast packed with places to visit and things to do, and sailors, walkers, cyclists and artists are all drawn to this area for its natural beauty. Explore the forests and coastline by foot, bike, kayak or boat. Abundant with wildlife, with deer, buzzards, otters, golden eagles, red squirrels and even, if you’re very lucky, basking sharks while you are out and about. The whole area is steeped in Highland history and dotted with ruins, castles and ancient sites.

A short drive takes you to Portavadie, with its marina, or take the ferry over to Tarbert to explore the Kintyre Peninsula, with ferries to the islands of Islay, Jura and Arran.
