Driftwood Cottage is a little gem of a holiday home at the end of Cinque Port Street - close to the Quayside, The Mint and all the wonderful antique shops, restaurants and speciality shops in the centre of historic Rye. The cottage has been imaginatively renovated by the owners and the secluded back garden is a real bonus - as is the parking permit. Shop: 200 yds Pub: 200 yds
Ground Floor:
Sitting Room is carpeted with many exposed beams and provides a sofa bed, comfortable armchair, antique trunk and flat screen TV/DVD
Kitchen is compact but houses an electric oven and hob, washer/dryer, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and antique wall-mounted plate rack

First Floor:
Bedroom with a double bed, chest of drawers, shaker peg rack, beautiful original fireplace and storage cupboard
Bathroom with a shower over the bath, Victorian style taps with hand-held shower attachment, washbasin and w.c.
Garden: Accessed via a stable door from the kitchen with side gate (shared with neighbouring house), fully fenced for privacy with border plants, pebbled area leading to decking with garden furniture.
Parking: Permit for local car parks.
Heating: Gas central heating plus gas fire in sitting room.
Notes: Not suitable for the infirm or toddlers due to the steep stairs. Small pets welcome but no large dogs please. The cottage benefits from secondary double glazing but due to it's location there is road noise.
