Cosy and well appointed (including Wifi connection), they share 8 acres of lovely grounds, home to barn owls and abundant wildlife, and offering visitors plenty of space in which to relax and unwind. Children will love the play area with its trampoline, slides, swings and climbing frame, and there is a pond with carp to fish as well as a bubbling stream (unfenced, toddlers beware!).

A wonderful array of places of interest and visitor attractions are easily accessible � Barrington Court and Montacute House are among the National Trust properties within an easy drive, the Abbotsbury Swannery is well worth a visit, and Forde Abbey and Gardens and the Cricket St Thomas Wildlife Park are both found nearby. The West Dorset Heritage lies 10 miles away, offering superb walking with breathtaking views as well as opportunities for fossil hunting. The coastal towns and villages invite exploration � pretty Lyme Regis with its famous Cobb, Bridport with its lively street markets, and the bustling waterfront at West Bay (once called Bridport Harbour), brimful of family fun and activities.
