The cottage has an enclosed sunny rear garden with views of the surrounding fells. Lorton Lakes Cottage is open all year and is situated in the idyllic village of High Lorton near the beautiful valley of Buttermere close to Whinlatter cycling trails.

Patio furniture & barbecue provided. Storage shed for bicycles and car parking outside cottage.

Two charming bedrooms with beautiful beamed ceilings, One with a double bed & One with two single beds. Travel cot available on request.

A comfortable lounge with multi-fuel wood burner, providing hot water & central heating (electric heaters also if preferred). Television, DVD, Books & Games.

Local Area - Five lakes nearby. Whinlatter cycling trails and visitor center to rear of cottage. Close to Keswick etc.

Dog Friendly Places - Local pub within walking distance. Most pubs in area dog friendly. Crummock Water, Buttermere and Loweswater where there are many doggie walks close nearby.Whinlatter Forest at rear of cottage, having excellent and extensive walk and excellent cycling trails
