Recently converted 2 bedroom period end of terrace cottage on the edge of Walmer, with a view to the Windmill. The finish is a blend of country cottage with modern facilities such as gas fired central heating, secondary double glazing 37" Flatscreen TV and Wi-Fi. The property also retains some of its original features such as the original bedroom fireplaces, although these are not in use, and a cellar. There is a private rear fenced garden and patio area, complete with table and chairs. Parking is roadside and free.

Accommodation - This property has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 +cot

The Cottage - Nice lounge with comfortable leather seating, 37in flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD. There is a working woodburning stove for those cosy evenings. The dining area is one of my favourite parts of the cottage and has a nice feel with the oak furnishings. The kitchen is well equipped with a good sized fridge freezer, washing machine, gas oven and hob and a microwave. There is a cellar with a tumble dryer. The bathroom has a w/c at one end, a bath with shower over and a basin. Upstairs offers a double bedroom each side of the landing. The Master bedroom has a King-Size bed, flatscreen TV with Freeview and good storage. The second bedroom has a std 135cm double bed and cupboard space.

Local Area - Set on the high ground in a No-Through road above Walmer, you are in great walking country and the beach is only 20 minutes away on foot. Within a 5 minute walk are a great range of shops including a bakers, butchers, general store and the railway station for those wishing to arrive and travel around without a car.Pubs serving food are a 15 minute walk. Nearby Deal is a great town with a historic past. There are supermarkets and a great range of restaurants and shops in it narrow streets. Dover castle, cliffs and underground war rooms, Canterbury and Ramsgate are all close by and a must if you are down for the week.
