Peaceful cottage in rural location in the Northern Scottish Highlands. 2 pets are welcome. Ideal for dog walking and leisure pursuits amidst the wonderful scenery. Ploughmans Cottage is a newly available self-catering holiday cottage. It is a cosy two bedroom cottage set on the outskirts of Ardgay in Sutherland. It will accommodate 4.
The town of Bonar Bridge is a mile away and provides a small supermarket, post office, butchers, hotels, cafe and bistro

Accommodation - This property has 2 bedrooms and sleeps up to 4

There is a comfy lounge with multi-fuel wood burning stove, TV, Sky box and DVD player.
The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with an electric oven with grill and hob, fridge, small freezer, washing machine, ironing board and iron, microwave, kettle and toaster. All kitchenware is supplied. The dining table will seat 5/6 people. The bathroom is downstairs, with bath, separate shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.
Both bedrooms are upstairs. The main bedroom has a double bed a TV and Sky box. There is room for a fold out bed suitable for a child. The second bedroom has two 3 foot beds. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with ample storage.

The garden is fully enclosed by stone walling and fencing. There is space for two cars

Local Area - Forest and hill walks, mountain biking, fishing, golf, amazing beaches, rivers, lochs and waterfalls.

Dog Friendly Places - Open access as per the Scottish open access policy.
