This stylish architect-designed single storey house is in the picturesque village of Westleton, halfway between the seaside towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Just around the corner you’ll find an excellent pub serving freshly made local produce and a village stores, and the pretty village green that hosts the famous annual barrel rolling fair.

Inside there’s an open plan living/kitchen/dining room with a contemporary wood-burning stove and glazed folding doors leading out to the garden. The word 'Knottebu' is Norweigan for 'small mountain cabin', as the appearance of the cottage reminded him of the cabins he stayed in on numberous skiing trips there!
